The Take 21 Film Festival is excited to be hosting the 12th annual film festival showcase on May 28th 2017 at the Ted Rogers Hot Docs Cinema (506 Bloor St. West).
Formerly known as the Toronto Student Film Festival, Take 21 is an international youth film festival based in Toronto, Canada. Take 21 strives to showcase to the work and talent of filmmakers 21-and-under from around the world.
Our festival is programmed by a nine-person student jury comprised of Toronto students in the same age range who all share a strong passion for film. We are currently accepting applications for the jury until May 8th. More information can be found on our website: take21.ca/copy-2-of-home
Join us as we celebrate a night of youth talent and filmmaking. The showcase will inlude a 21:60 special presentation, where we will screen the top 5 films from our inagural online sixty second film festival, 21:60. As well we will screen the top 21 short films (six minutes or less) submited by young filmmakers from around the globe and selected by our student jury.
