// Duncan Davies
Toronto-based songwriter Duncan Davies writes melodic music for the poetic soul. His influences aren't summed up well with some catchy genre-bending phrase. Rather, like the city he grew up in, has a melting pot of influences, from old-school singer-songwriters like J.J. Cale and Willie Nelson to 90's grunge folkies like Hayden and Mojave 3. One thing is sure: you will leave Duncan's show having considered some sensitive side of yourself that you maybe didn't know you had. Duncan was a songwriter, singer and guitar player in The Treasures band from 2009-2016, honing his chops by playing multiple sets a night at local music halls. Having a shared appreciation for The Band, the Allman Brothers Band, The Flying Burrito Brothers, and the Grateful Dead, the Treasures toured North America reaching audiences the old fashioned way; by making live connections with people one show at a time. Duncan is currently recording his debut solo LP, set for release fall 2017.
