Do you want to know how to take stunning photos of your food with your smartphone – to share on social media, your blog, or for your own personal collection?
Join Shayma Saadat, Toronto-based food photographer and stylist for a fun workshop on a Monday night at the lovely Bombay Street Food. Shayma’s work has appeared in the Globe and Mail, the New York Times, Food52, The Kitchn, and CBC, among others. You can check out more of Shayma's work on her Facebook page, Spice Spoon!
In this interactive class, Shayma will cover lighting, composition, food-styling and smartphone post-production for food lovers and social media enthusiasts.
Please bring your smartphone, with enough free memory for new photos, as well as the Instagram app, logged in and ready to go.
We will also learn about the art of food styling – which props make your photos pop and your photos appreciated – and how to create a visual story with your photography.
After styling and photographing our food, we will enjoy the delicious food of Bombay Street Food. A menu will be posted shortly!
