Slow down and soften into this 90 minute practice.
Yin yoga targets the connective tissue of the body, with poses being held 3-5 minutes, close to the ground. The passive nature of the practice makes it a beautiful contrast to running, cycling, and other active yoga classes. Lana will lead us into shapes that will nourish the meridians (energy pathways) connected with the summer season.
In the stillness, we will explore the organs connecting to the summer season- (the heart and small intestine), and how they affect our well-being. Then, melt into pure, sweet, restorative poses before savasana. Throughout the practice Lana will apply or offer essential oils to enhance relaxation.
