Want to learn to surf? Get better on your SUP? Maybe even Race?
Come try a bit of everything in a supportive environment with us! You will learn water safety, 5 different ways to surf, the 3 types of wave breaks, how to pop up and to change your stances on SUP boards, pro-racing turns, power strokes, the difference in lake swell vs ocean swell, and lots of other valuable skills and info.
In this 5 week series you will be with the same people, getting a wide variety of surfing and SUP experience through studying and talking on land, doing balance exercises and practicing pop ups and how to get out over waves prior to water practice. Wetsuits are mandatory; it can tend to be very cold sometimes. We aim to have fun, exercise, teach you to SUP surf but know you will be in the water way more then any other class we have.
We want people to sign up to this class that are ready to take their SUP or surfing to a new level, or people comfortable in and out of the water with other sports. There are 2-4 SUP surf /SUP race instructors on this Sunday class from 6:30pm — 8:30 PM, which is a very beautiful time to be on the water!
