Saffron is a songwriter who sings and plays the mandolin, mandola, octave mandolin and mandocello. The music she writes mostly starts as poetry, and music is a vehicle to communicate the text in a strong, raw and emotive way. Her music sits where emotion and intellect, intersect. She was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Fall Songwriter's Getaway in Orillia with the Toronto Songwriting School, based on the merit of her song Introspection. Saffron released Introspection as her first single November 10th, and she published her first work of poetry in September. You can preview Introspection through the link below~
