Join Dr. Heather Igloliorte, an Inuk curator and art historian from Nunatsiavut, the Inuit self-governing region of Labrador, as she discusses the integration of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (Inuit values and knowledge) into contemporary exhibition practice through the development of her collaborative, community-led work in Nunatsiavut. This presentation centres on Igloliorte’s work with her community to reveal the hidden history of Labrador Inuit art to light through the development of the nationally touring exhibition, SakKijâjuk: Art and Craft from Nunatsia.
