Close/Close by Olivia Costes
“I just want to sleep, in my dreams, or sometimes even in this place between awake and asleep, I can feel you again.” A young woman who is unable to move past a relationship that ended a year ago doesn’t know where to look for meaning. As her dreams and memories become more vivid than reality, she struggles to see what is real and who she is, or ever was.

Not Many Immigrants Live Here by Thilini Seevakireedam
Not Many Immigrants Live Here is the exploration of identity, diversity, immigration and exclusion through the point of view of a POC (person of colour) female living in North America. What does it mean to be able to converse, walk and listen during a time where being different is both a trend and a target? What does it mean to live in a space where feeling unwelcome and unheard feels like breathing? What does it feel like, taste like, smell like to be a stranger in your own home?
Propaganda vs. Propaganda by Aaliyah Wooter
I pledge allegiance to the Queen
I swear to protect her at all costs
Put her life before mine
No matter what
Though, there’s a strange disease that plagues mind
Roaming throughout the land
It won’t get me
This was all true
Until it got him
And it was hard to stay loyal
Ethics and Peace vs Power and Greed
Who will stay true
Some may say I had my loyalties confused
But, did I?
