After our Lee/Lifeson Art Park Excursion it’s back to the neighborhood for dinner in small groups. Lots of great places to eat close to “home” but don’t get TOO comfortable with that chair at the dinner table because the evening is FAR from over!
Next, it’s off to the 100+ year old Fox Theatre! While it may not be QUITE as old as the tree from which Neil’s R40 kit came this Historic Theatre will be perfect for our needs (Yes, they have a licensed bar… food and beverage will be available for purchase.)
Together with our friends at Edge Factor, we have arranged for us to experience a Special Private Screening of their all-new documentary Masters of Resonance!
“Before running a CNC machine, I thought about bu...ying stuff, not making it. Before I met the team at DW Drums, I thought a drum was a pail with a lid on it. Then I spent time with John Good, Founder of DW Drums and Neil Peart from Rush and realized… Boy, am I wrong. “
— Jeremy Bout, Host/ Producer of Edge Factor
Masters of Resonance is a music film that takes the audience on a journey from the forest to the stadium and tells the story of how a fallen tree rises and lives again, in the music it creates. This film shows the making of DW Drums and celebrates the unique relationship between makers and musicians. Featuring artists like Neil Peart from Rush, Tommy Clufetos from Black Sabbath, Paul Wertico from Pat Metheny Group, Duncan Phillips from Newsboys, and many others!
The Producer & Directors Jeremy Bout and Larissa Hofman will be in attendance during the screening and will host a special Q&A panel immediately after the film! While this will be a private screening of the film, we expect that there will be some national industry folks in attendance as well as possible media coverage.
We’ll finish off the evening with our auction, this year’s proceeds going to the Kidney Foundation… A charity dear to Alex…
This is truly one of those “Once in a Lifetime” sort of opportunities and we hope you are as excited as we are…
Jeremy, Larissa, Donald, Ron, and Teri
