The event this year will be raising money for the WE charity. WE is a family of organizations dedicated to empowering youth and making doing good doable. Internationally, WE Villages uses a sustainable, holistic, five-pillar development model to tackle and break the cycle of poverty in communities around the world. Domestically, WE Schools, is a yearlong educational program that nurtures compassion in students and gives them the tools to create transformative social change. Through WE’s various segments, the organization hopes to shift “me thinking” to “WE thinking”, providing adults and youth alike, the platform and resources to make a positive impact on their communities and the world.
